Comments: My 'crit' was cut short! Herewith the beginning! THE LONG-AWAITED ANNUAL PANTO BY THE EXPERIENCED BRITON FERRY LITTLE THEATRE GROUP DULY ARRIVED WITH GOOD AUDIENCES, YOUNG AND OLD, FOR IT'S 4 PERFORMANCES. CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS, WRITTEN BY THE NIMBLE FINGERS OF CHAIRPERSON HERSELF JOYCE HARDING, WAS A TREAT IN CONVINCING US ALL THAT THE EARTH WAS NOT FLAT IN THOSE FAR OFF DAYS - OH NO IT WASN'T! AND WHAT A PROFESSIONAL TOUCH IN BRINGING ON MICKEY MOUSE AND OTHER WALT DISNEY CHARACTERS, PROVING TO US ALL THAT CHRIS HAD DISCOVERED AN AREA WHICH INCLUDED THE FUTURE DISNEYWORLD! PAULINE MILLS WAS A DIRECTOR NOT TO BE TAMPERED WITH, AND IN SETTING OUT HER STALL, HER CAST AND CREW RESPONDED WITH AS PROFESSIONAL A PERFORMANCE AS YOU WOULD EVER WITNESS IN LOCAL AMATEUR THEATRE. MORE PLEASE PAULINE! NEWCOMER SIMON MORGAN, AN APT NAME FOR A PIRATE, WAS SUPERB AS THE MAIN CULPRIT OF THE HISSES AND BOOS, WHILST FORMER CHORUS GIRL ANNETTE WALLACE.............etc!

Comments: I was disappointed with the comments in the local newspaper regarding your superb panto so here is my crit! WALLACE TOOK THE PLAUDITS AS DAME CRYSTAL-de-CANTER.PLAYING A LIGHT-HEARTED 'CAMP' PART FOR 8 PERFORMANCES, PLUS REHEARSALS, IS NOT EASY, BUT STAGE MANAGER ADRIAN ISAAC CARRIED OFF A PART THAT EVEN LILY SAVAGE WOULD HAVE BEEN PROUD. THE WHOLE CAST OF PIRATES, DANCERS AND CHORUS CAME UP TRUMPS, AND I WAS PARTICULARLY IMPRESSED WITH COLUMBUS 'HERSELF' FRANCES PURCHASE. ROGER COTTON AND GILLIAN MURPHY AS CHIP AND DALE RECEIVED MANY LAUGHS WITH THEIR ANTICS, AND DESERVEDLY SO, AND WHERE ELSE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM WOULD BE ESCORTED TO YOUR SEAT BY THE NO 1 SEAN CONNERY LOOK-A-LIKE! WITH TWO 3 ACT PLAYS ALREADY BEING PLANNED FOR MAY, AND POSSIBLY SEPTEMBER BY THIS TALENTED GROUP, WE CAN'T WAIT - OH YES WE CAN!

Comments: Sally, your welcome, it's great to have someone with such enthusiasm (and better spelling) in the society. You will have to join in with our social activities, which tend to involve alcohol and me making a *** of myself, just ask Adrian. Best wishes and keep on serving those drinks!!
