Our next production has been announced, click on the link for a full cast list.  I would like to say a big congratulations to everyone involved in the High Sheriff's fund raising event.  It was great fun being back on stage for Frank Vickery's "A Night Out" and I would also like to thank Terry for directing the production.  This was his first time in the director's chair and I hope the first of many more.

Sorry for the very long absence, but I am back now to provide you with as many updates as possible.  Rehearsals for the "A night out" are going very well, as is usual with any Frank Victory play we haven't stopped laughing from beginning to end.  Also, just to remind all members that Auditions for our April/May production will be this Sunday.

Congratulations to all involved in the successful production of "The Handyman" the play was received well and everyone I have spoken to said they really enjoyed it.  Keep up the good work.  Auditions start for our annual pantomime in October, hope to see lots of faces there, both old and new and good luck to Adrian who has been chosen to direct us.

Congratulations to all of you cast in our 2007 pantomime "The Tinder Box" I shall miss being in the panto this year, but will try my best to make sure I am available to assist backstage.  Looks like our very own stage manager and website administrator keeps getting the buzz on rather than backstage.  Adrian has been cast as the Soldier (romantic interest)

Well done to N.A.O.S. (Neath Amateur Operatic Society) on the Welsh premier production of "The Who's TOMMY" it's nice to see N.A.O.S. are continuing to bring new musicals to the South Wales area.  Their next production shall be "Godspell" in St David's Church, Neath as the Gwyn Hall shall be receiving a major makeover.

Our Pantomime is now over and I would like to thank those people who came along to help backstage.  A special thanks goes out to Karla and Adam (who took the role of Deputy Stage Manager for two performances each) and also Ruth (from the dancers), who between them ensured the pantomime ran without technical hitches.  You took a lot of pressure off me and I really appreciate the efforts you put in.

With my thanks to all the stage crew, Adrian

Our September production was a huge success.  We saw many new faces in our audience as well as lots of familiar faces.  Thank you all for coming old and new whom without we wouldn't be able to put on any productions.  I hope to see you all at our next production, Around the World with Christopher Columbus that will be performed in January.

Open Auditions for this production will be held at St Mary's Church Hall on Sunday 17th October.  Hope to see you all there.

Also a special message about Don.  He is recovering from his stroke in the Cimla at the moment and is making good progress.  We all hope to see you out and about soon Don.

all the best, Adrian

Our September production is fast approaching, so members, get selling those tickets.  Spread the word as much as possible, it is statistically proven that the best form of advertising is by word of mouth.  Also anyone wanting to put posters up, whether it be in their car or house window, then please contact our ticket secretary who can be reached via... tickets@bflt.org.uk
